BRUSSELS, Belgium – June 17, 2025 – Motorola Solutions (NYSE: MSI) will be joined by its customers, including the Brazilian government and Ghent Police, at Critical Communications World 2025 (CCW), to highlight the technology innovations that are helping to keep communities safer across the globe.

The Brazilian government will discuss its implementation of a federal mission-critical communications solution from Motorola Solutions designed to unify communications across Brazil’s defense and public safety organisations. The solution will integrate the country’s P25, TETRA and DMR land mobile radio (LMR) systems with new Push-to-X (MCX) broadband services, enabling resilient and reliable interagency interoperability together with video streaming and multimedia capabilities to augment joint operations.

Additionally, Ghent Police, located a short distance from CCW, will share how they are preparing for the forthcoming summer of festivals, which attract thousands of people to the area. The police force is deploying Motorola Solutions’ LTE-enabled V500 body cameras to bring enhanced awareness to officers on the front lines of incident response.

Motorola Solutions will also unveil its new DIMETRA X Core software release, with advanced features such as Eco mode, which automatically reduces TETRA base station power consumption when the network is not heavily utilized. In addition, the new release enables DIMETRA Connect, allowing front-line responders to stay connected by automatically switching between TETRA and broadband networks.

Other technology highlights at CCW include the new M500E in-car video solution. The compact form factor of the M500E is specifically designed to fit European public safety vehicles without compromising functionality or performance. It offers the flexibility to support multiple cameras and pairs with the SmartControl app, which allows officers to easily tag and upload evidence or playback video from within the car, accelerating operations while keeping officers in the field.

“From Latin America to Europe, public safety agencies are relying on Motorola Solutions’ safety and security ecosystem to better connect, inform and protect their front-line teams,” said Axel Kukuk, vice president, Europe Sales, Motorola Solutions. “CCW is an important destination for our public safety customers, and we’re proud to participate in the global dialogue on technology and its impact in keeping communities safe and protected.”

Experience Motorola Solutions’ ecosystem of safety and security technologies at booth C30 at CCW, Brussels, June 17-19.
