Hytera, a leading global provider of professional communications technologies and solutions, was honored with recognition in two major categories at the 2025 China Digital City Forum, held in Beijing on June 13. The recognition underscores Hytera’s contribution to smart city communications and urban governance.

Two of Hytera’s flagship projects were selected under the forum’s innovation categories: China Digital City Governance and Solution.

Project: Chongqing Ciqikou Multi-Agency Joint Command & Control Platform
Located in one of China’s most renowned tourist cities, the Ciqikou Subdistrict in Chongqing faces unique governance challenges due to high visitor density and the complexity of its historic urban layout. In response to the complex urban governance challenges in high-traffic heritage districts, Hytera and the Ciqikou Subdistrict of Chongqing’s Shapingba District Government co-developed a digital platform integrating all-domain sensing and multi-agency response. The platform enables visualized command and AI-driven alerts for crowd control, emergency response, and event management. It proved vital in safeguarding the 2025 Global Alumni Half Marathon, which drew thousands of domestic and international participants.

Project: Xi’an Xianyang International Airport 5G Digital Trunking Communication
Supporting western China’s largest airport construction project, Hytera partnered with Xi’an Xianyang International Airport to deploy an advanced 5G-based communication system. Covering 12 key operational areas and equipped with more than 1,100 smart terminals, the solution enhances emergency coordination, enables high-definition video dispatch, and supports intelligent patrols and digital workflows. The result is a transformative boost in airport efficiency and responsiveness.

“Hytera’s solution has greatly improved our airport’s operational efficiency and emergency responsiveness,” said the Director of the Information and Data Department at Xi’an Xianyang International Airport. “It provides us with a future-ready communication network that supports our rapid growth and positions us as a model for smart airport development.”

“The awards reflect not only the success of these featured projects, but also the broader impact of Hytera’s technologies across multiple sectors,” said Zhihao Chen, General Manager of Hytera’s As cities undergo rapid digital transformation, Hytera remains committed to enabling smarter, safer, and more connected communities—both in China and globally.”
