POCSTARS, a world leading Push-to-talk over Cellular (PoC) communications solution provider, successfully held its first leg of roadshows in Harbin, capital city of Heilongjiang province, in northeastern China, on November 28, 2020. More than 30 attendees from PoC product dealers, developers and integrators joined POCSTARS team to get the latest updates of the industry and POCSTARS product portfolio.

Besides sharing his insights of PoC ecosystem and industry, Yanbin Zhang, General Manager of POCSTARS, emphasized POCSTARS’ effort to strengthen its project based technical support, delivery and service. A team of over 30 professionals, including sales engineers, software engineers, delivery and service technicians, had been set up for domestic projects. Zhang highlighted POCSTARS’ three major strengths of its portfolio, the full IPR software suites, PTT and PoC convergent products, and PoC infrastructure MiniServer.

Song Wang, Northern Region Director, and Haihong Peng, Product Director, respectively demonstrated POCSTARS software suites and MiniServer. As a small core network server, MiniServer adopts compact design. Customers only need to have one network cable and an IP to setup their private communications system over carriers’ public networks. For the Chinese market, POCSTARS currently provides two versions of MiniServer: voice version and video version. For overseas markets, POCSTARS provides a small and lightweight model M200, which supports voice, GPS, SOS and up to 200 user from sectors such as small enterprises and hotels. POCSTARS also provides an full-feature version M500, which supports PTT, dispatching, positioning, recording, SOS alarm, geo fence, text, picture, video streaming and up to 500 users. Besides the MiniServer, POCSTARS’ PoC terminal series and multi-mode voice gateways also attracted intensive attention at the conference.
