Teltronic welcomed a delegation on Thursday consisting of representatives from the Conselho Nacional de Secretários de Estado da Administração (CONSAD), Instituto Brasileiro de Administração Pública (IBAP) and the Associação Brasileira de Empresas Estaduais e Públicas de Tecnologia da Informação e Comunicação (ABEP-TIC), who are on an official mission in Spain to seek new approaches to innovate and modernize the Brazilian states.

This technological immersion focused on smart cities, cybersecurity and digital transformation has made a stop at the headquarters of Teltronic, where, the delegation has learned about the company and its extensive experience in the Brazilian market.

Participants toured various areas of the company and witnessed first-hand the functioning of some of its most innovative solutions, especially focused on private broadband networks. These networks offer numerous applications in public safety—such as MCX technology and bodycams—as well as in Industry 4.0 and Smart Cities through integration with Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and advanced sensor technologies.

After the visit, the delegation and Teltronic’s management team have gone  to the Zaragoza City Hall, where they have been welcomed by the Councilor for Economy, Digital Transformation, and Transparency, Carlos Gimeno, and the Deputy Councilor for Digital Transformation, Miguel Ángel García Muro. Municipal officials presented the “Zityverse” project, an ambitious Digital Transformation Plan that aims to make Zaragoza a model Smart City.

To end the day, the delegation has attended a lunch-colloquium in which Teltronic’s deployment of a private 4G network for the prisons of Ceará was explained. This pioneering milestone has made it possible, for the first time in Brazil, to equip prison staff in the state with bodycams, enhancing operational efficiency and safety. The discussion included input from Francisco Barbosa, Director of Ceará’s Information Technology Company (Etice), who highlighted the value of the solution.

Teltronic’s CEO, Juan Ferro, expressed gratitude that the delegation included the company in their journey to learn best practices for improving public services, offering Teltronic’s expertise as a provider of communication solutions for critical environments.

“This year, Teltronic Brazil celebrates its 25th anniversary with 100 employees. Brazil is a very special country for us, with a strong presence and the trust of numerous clients. We look forward to exploring new collaboration opportunities to continue helping Brazilian authorities overcome challenges in critical communications,” Ferro emphasized.
