Tait Communications, PRESCOM SAS and Systel-SA have announced a collaboration to deliver an integrated DMR Tier 2 and DMR Tier 3 communications solution for Fire and Rescue Services, combining proven technologies and operational expertise from deployments in Switzerland and Spain.
The partnership brings together Tait Communications’ digital radio capabilities, PRESCOM’s mission-critical command and control solutions, and Systel’s experience in emergency communications integration to create a complete communications ecosystem — connecting control rooms, network infrastructure and frontline emergency responders.
Designed to address the operational needs of modern Fire and Rescue Services, the joint solution provides a practical approach to interoperability, resilience and communications continuity, enabling emergency organisations to enhance their existing capabilities while adopting flexible and future-ready technologies.
Supporting both DMR Tier 2 conventional networks and DMR Tier 3 trunked systems, the collaboration allows public safety organisations to select deployment models aligned with their operational requirements, while maintaining reliable connectivity between dispatch centres and field personnel.
Through this cooperation, Tait, PRESCOM and Systel aim to help Fire and Rescue Services build stronger communication foundations by combining radio networks, control room integration and mission-critical workflows into a unified solution.
The initiative reflects the growing demand among emergency services worldwide for secure, interoperable and resilient critical communications platforms that support faster decision-making and safer frontline operations.
