Tait Communications made a strategic appearance in its first major participation at LAAD Defense & Security, the 2025 edition of Latin America’s largest security and defense trade show. The trusted critical communications provider attracted a highly experienced audience at its modern booth, standing out for its high visitor flow and the presence of key institutions from the defense and security sector.

An Impressive Representation of Federal & State Public Safety Visited the Booth

Over the four days of the event, Tait's booth became a meeting point for Brazil's leading public safety forces. Representatives from the Military Police of São Paulo (PMESP), Rio de Janeiro (PMERJ), Minas Gerais (PMMG), Espírito Santo (PMES), Rio Grande do Sul (BMRS), Paraná (PMPR), and Rio Grande do Norte (PMRN), among others, as well as federal agencies such as the Federal Police, Federal Highway Police, the Ministry of Justice, and representatives from the Armed Forces — Army, Navy, and Air Force — visited the booth to learn about Tait’s latest innovations.

One of the highlights of the event was the special visit from the General Commander of the São Paulo State Military Police, Colonel Cássio de Freitas, reinforcing the relevance of Tait’s presence alongside Brazil’s top public safety leadership. The booth also welcomed international partners and agencies from several South American countries, further strengthening Tait's positioning in the region.

NZTE Partnership Solidifies Powerful Presence at LAAD

Another key differentiator of Tait's participation at LAAD 2025 was the consistent support of the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE), the New Zealand government’s business development agency, which was present throughout the event, supporting Tait’s initiatives and fostering institutional relations within the Brazilian market.

Tait Showcases Benefits of Multiprotocol & Broadband Solutions to Brazilian Heroes

Among the technological highlights presented, the launch of the new Series 99 — featuring the TP9900 portable radios and TM9900 mobile radios — captured the attention of industry professionals. This innovative solution, unique in the global market, enables integrated operation across both DMR and P25 digital protocols within a single device. The technology was widely praised for its flexibility, versatility, and operational efficiency — all essential attributes for mission-critical environments and joint operations across multiple agencies.

The Brazilian market also showed great interest in Tait’s LTE broadband solutions, especially the Tait AXIOM portfolio, which integrates voice and data communications to prepare public safety agencies for the challenges of smart cities. In addition, Tait Enable intelligent monitoring applications further reinforced the company’s commitment to providing advanced management, operational control, and data analytics for critical environments.

Tait's successful participation at LAAD 2025 marks a new chapter for the company in Brazil and Latin America, highlighting its brand repositioning and its growing proximity to the country’s public safety ecosystem. With robust solutions, cutting-edge technology, and strong relationships with customers, partners, and institutions, Tait reaffirms its commitment to supporting the modernization and efficiency of communications and security operations around the world.
