NSW Telco Authority is proud to announce that its Broadband Cell on Wheels (COWs) for emergency community Wi-Fi has won the Government and Public Sector category at the 2025 AIIA NSW iAwards.
The award was accepted on behalf of the Authority by Rania Wannous, Executive Director of Customer and Emergency Management, and Steven I., Executive Director of Strategy, Commercial and Risk, at the official ceremony held yesterday.
This recognition highlights the exceptional work of our Product Innovation and Development, Product Lifecycle Management, and Design, Research and Insights teams, whose collaborative efforts brought this essential emergency connectivity capability to life.
We also extend our congratulations to the Connectivity Innovation Network for being named finalists for their Secure Multi-Org Data Sharing (SMODS) platform, and express our sincere appreciation to Pivotel for their vital role in supplying, maintaining, and supporting our COW trailers—ensuring they are ready to provide critical connectivity when communities need it most.
