Grupo Ezentis Selects Rohill for Madrid Airport TETRA Modernization

Hoogeveen / Madrid, August 14, 2026 – Grupo Ezentis today announced that its subsidiary Grupo Comunicaciones y Sonido (Grupo CYS) has been awarded by AENA the contract to modernize the TETRA mission-critical communications network at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport. Rohill, as technology partner, will provide its TetraNode platform and technical expertise for the project.

The project, to be completed over a 24-month implementation period, will enhance network security, authentication capabilities, and the resilience of mission-critical communications, ensuring the infrastructure is ready to meet future operational requirements.

As Spain's main international gateway and one of Europe's busiest airports, Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport requires the highest standards of resilience, availability, and operational security. The upgraded network, based on Rohill's TetraNode platform and implemented by Grupo CYS, will modernize and expand its mission-critical communications infrastructure, supporting secure, reliable, and uninterrupted airport operations.
