Airbus Defence and Space has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Indosat Tbk and PT SOG Indonesia, to explore potential collaboration on deploying Agnet, Airbus’ secure, mission-critical communication and collaboration platform, in the Indonesian market.

The signing took place during Indo Defence 2025. Alain Ruinet, Head of APAC Sales and Programme Delivery for Public Safety and Security represented Airbus, alongside Lisbon Pantas Simangunsong, SVP-Head of B2B Financial & Government Segment at Indosat, and Sanny Jauwhannes, Director at SOG Indonesia.

Under the agreement, all three parties will assess the feasibility of a go-to-market strategy for Agnet. This includes evaluating business opportunities to deliver a locally tailored, high-performance collaboration solution for government agencies, public safety, defence, critical national infrastructure, and industrial users in Indonesia.

Airbus will bring deep expertise in mission-critical collaboration solutions, which enable secure voice, video, and data communications. PT SOG will contribute with its extensive knowledge and capabilities in digital radio services and systems integration, while Indosat will offer vital 4G / 5G connectivity infrastructure and solutions expertise.

Agnet is a standardised, flexible and future-proof collaboration platform . For meeting all critical collaboration needs the solution is deployed as a service leveraging the benefits of cloud technology, mobile or private broadband (4G/5G technology) and satellite communication. Agnet can acquire and transmit secure data, video and voice to all relevant stakeholders at once in a secure and reliable way. It allows two-way radio devices, smartphone, tablet and laptop users to communicate individually, or in a group.
