Today marks a significant development in the Réseau Radio du Futur (RRF) project, as the manufacturers holding the RRF framework agreement officially commence the Aptitude Validation (VA) process. This critical step ensures the system’s functionality and reliability ahead of its scheduled commissioning in April 2025. The VA process, set to run through mid-February, involves rigorous cross-testing of all system components to guarantee seamless performance for security, rescue, emergency medical assistance, and population protection services.
The launch of the VA phase this morning brought together all industrial stakeholders in the project, including Eviden, Orange, Airbus, and Capgemini—the latter two acting as overall integrators responsible for steering and executing the tests. The ACMOSS teams, tasked with overseeing operational deployment and integration, supervise the tests and validate their results. Present at this milestone event were senior leadership figures such as Guillaume Lambert (General Manager), David Verrier (Director of Design and Integration), and their Project Management Assistance team.
In close collaboration with the ANFSI, ACMOSS ensures that tests are conducted in alignment with operational needs and standards.
We extend our gratitude to all participants whose dedication and expertise are instrumental in advancing this essential stage of the project. Together, we are building the future of reliable, secure communication for critical public services.
