Teltronic is taking part at the 4th FRMCS Plugtests that, arranged by the ETSI with the support of the European Commission (EC), the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), the Critical Communications Association (TCCA) and the International Union of Railways (UIC), are being held in Sophia Antipolis, France, till 5 July 2024.

These sessions are aimed at validating the interoperability of a variety of implementations using different test scenarios based on the 3GPP Mission Critical Services framework with focus on the railway specific features, including Mission Critical Push To Talk (MCPTT), “Mission Critical Data” (MCData) and “Mission Critical Video” (MCVideo).

Teltronic, that has attended all the previous sessions of the FRMCS plugtests, has travelled to Sophia Antipolis with its FRMCS portfolio, which includes 5G Core, gNodeB, RTP-800 cab radio, NG CeCoCo control room and MCX server in order to test different railway-oriented test cases, such as Ad-Hoc Group Calls, Call Back Requests and First-To-Answer Calls, Explicit Group Affilliation/De-affiliation and different operations with Functional Alias.

Teltronic will once again participate at the Observer Program, an initiative that intends to examine the progress of deployment and the challenges of FRMCS thanks to the active participation of various stake holders in railways to discuss the progress of FRMCS. It also includes interoperability demos which allow us to show how our solutions meet the test cases.

Since the first sessions, Teltronic’s commitment with the plugtests is out of any doubt. The company joins it as the best opportunity to assess the level of interoperability of  its implementations, validate the understanding of the standards and promote the technology and the ecosystem surrounding it.
