Inrico, a leading provider of professional wireless communications solutions, has delivered its innovative Push-to-talk over Cellular (PoC) communication and dispatching system to Greenland Group, a top-tier real estate and property management enterprise in China. Greenland owns development projects in 65 cities of 24 provinces, including housing, offices, and commercial centers. Inrico’s solution enables reliable onsite team communications, fleet tracking and management, and citywide or cross-city dispatching. The system plays an essential role in facilitating property management and service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Greenland Property have deployed digital and analog two-way radios before, but they have increasingly stronger demand for multimedia communications features, which are not the advantages of traditional two-way radios. To better serve the owners, Greenland chose Inrico again to have a total solution of push-to-talk, multimedia calls, visualized dispatch, and other services. Inrico set up the system over public carriers’ 4G cellular network and provided T640 and T292 portable PoC radios.
The staff use Inrico T640 and T292 PoC radio during their daily duties. In case of emergency, they can report immediately with one key and obtain timely response and assistance. The location information of personnel is displayed on the map in real time at the dispatching console. The dispatcher can reach out to personnel around the emergency location and coordinate support. It greatly improves efficiency, and more importantly, ensures the safety of the staff and people they serve.
Records of visitor sign-in or security patrol used to be manual in Greenland. The limits were obvious. They are of poor reliability, low efficiency, and insufficient authenticity. The traditional two-way radios cannot transmit pictures or videos to each other in a diverse set of circumstances. Managers can’t accurately know the employees’ working status. Large-scale property management requires larger capacity to process greater data of tenants and property owners, engineering, and maintenance personnel flow on daily basis. PoC solution accommodates such requirement.
Property management, e.g., security and sanitary, is a daunting task due to tall building structures and large floor space. Traditional two-way radios are prone to have problems of blind spots and loss of signal. With PoC technology, the signal coverage is much better, since the cellular operators have invested heavily in indoor coverage.
The greatest benefits that Inrico solution brings to Greenland Property are guaranteed effective communication no matter the circumstances, informed staff for daily routine and challenging scenarios, and higher productivity and streamlined workflows.
