The focus is on exciting discussions, practice-oriented lectures and insights into current developments in the themes of private 5G campus networks, cybersecurity, IoT as well as security-critical communication solutions for KRITIS, public safety and control centres.

PMRExpo Summit: First-hand expert knowledge
Users and experts from industry, authorities and research that use or provide security-critical communications systems will meet at the PMRExpo summit. Here, the latest technologies, security aspects and business chances will be discussed, knowledge transfer and industry networks promoted. The first day will be opened by Stefan Schnorr, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport, and is dedicated to the theme of private 5G campus networks. User reports and best practices provide valuable insights into the dos & don'ts of implementation.

On the second day, Frank Buddrus, Vice President of the Federal Agency for Public Safety Digital Radio (BDBOS), will open the focus theme of BOS/Public Safety. Among other topics, the current status and the future of broadband BOS, satellite-supported communication and the setting up of a flexible information and warning system will be discussed. The second half of the day looks at Critical Infrastructures Themes like the KRITIS umbrella act and an agile procedure in requirements engineering, but also the AI development of TETRA networks are on the agenda. The third day is traditionally defined by control centres. Here, an exciting spectrum of themes will be addressed, including control centres in the cloud, accessible emergency calls, the application of artificial intelligence in control centres and the deployment of drones for preliminary information gathering.

Connecting Area: Exchange, innovations and networking
In addition to the summit, the PMRExpo offers an exciting programme that provides insights into current themes of the industry. From expert lectures through product presentations to start-up pitches, the Connecting Area offers something for everybody. The highlights also include the Property Radio Forum on 27 November and the presentation of the results from the BSI-funded COBRA 5G project on 28 November as well as the opening of the Hackathon (26 November) and the presentation of the results of the participating teams on 28 November.
