The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is pleased to announce a Request for Information (RFI) aimed at industry organizations to explore and gather information on technical and service offerings that can support the development and delivery of Australia’s Public Safety Mobile Broadband (PSMB) capability and network solution.
The RFI aims to:
Identify Market Offerings: Collect detailed information on available technical and service solutions for PSMB capability and network solutions.
Cost Analysis: Determine the costs associated with establishing, operating, and maintaining a national PSMB capability and network solution in Australia.
Vendor Pre-Qualification: Pre-qualify vendors for a subsequent procurement process, scheduled for the 2025-26 financial year. This process will cover essential components such as communications technology, coverage, infrastructure, and associated goods and services required for the delivery and operation of a PSMB capability and network solution.
NEMA encourages all interested parties to engage in this RFI, designed to enhance industry involvement and facilitate a comprehensive understanding of the available market capabilities and innovations.
