The Digital NSW Showcase 2024, held at the iconic Royal Randwick Racecourse, was a resounding success, drawing nearly 2,000 attendees from across government, industry, and the public sector. The event served as a dynamic platform for fostering innovation, collaboration, and the sharing of solutions to enhance connectivity across New South Wales.

The showcase was officially opened with a keynote address by the Hon. Jihad Dib MP, Minister for Customer Service and Emergency Services, who outlined the key pillars of the newly launched NSW Digital Strategy. These include accessibility, productivity, trust, resilience, and skills, all of which are central to shaping the state’s digital future.

Kylie De Courteney, Managing Director, delivered a powerful keynote on the critical importance of closing the digital divide and building inclusive, resilient telecommunications infrastructure for all communities. Her vision for a connected and equitable future resonated deeply with attendees, sparking meaningful conversations about the role of technology in bridging gaps.

Kylie also participated in a thought-provoking panel discussion on rapid response in times of crisis. Joining her on the panel were Deputy Commissioner Kyle Stewart from the NSW Rural Fire Service, Director David Cernjul from eHealth NSW, and Chief Product Officer Arnie Bhattacharya from Nuix. The session highlighted the role of technology and strong partnerships in enabling swift and effective responses to emergencies, underscoring the essential role of reliable connectivity during critical moments.

Throughout the day, our team showcased the latest in telecommunications technology, including our Telecommunications Emergency Management Unit vehicles, alongside our valued customer NSW Ambulance. These demonstrations offered attendees a firsthand look at how we’re keeping communities safe and connected in times of need.

We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand and engaged in meaningful conversations. The event highlighted the power of collaboration in building a more connected, resilient, and digitally inclusive future for New South Wales.

We look forward to continuing these conversations and working together to drive innovation in the digital landscape.
