Handing over the baton at the top: Martin Hucke (50) has taken over as the new CEO of HMF Smart Solutions GmbH on 17 October 2023 . He succeeds Matthias Klausing, who led the company for more than ten years and is now retiring. As one of the leading providers and manufacturers of customised, professional communication solutions and a system integrator, HMF Smart Solutions has been successfully operating on the market for over 40 years and has already implemented more than 1,500 projects worldwide.
“With HMF, I am taking over from Matthias Klausing a company that, despite the generally tense economic situation, is excellently positioned and continues to offer a great deal of development potential,” explained Martin Hucke on his appointment. “Matthias Klausing has led the company excellently for a whole decade and has set the course for the future in the best possible way. I would like to thank him very much for this personally and on behalf of the entire team.”
Martin Hucke is an experienced specialist in professional communication solutions who has already been working for HMF for 23 years, and since 2012 in an executive position: As Chief Operations Officer and Chief Business Officer, he most recently established, among other things, the “5G Competence Centre” in Bad Münder, where small and medium-sized enterprises in particular can gain hands-on experience with the 5G future technology. The establishment of this innovation lab marked an important milestone in HMF’s strategic development.
With Hucke as CEO, HMF will continue the transformation course it has already embarked on and expand both the project-related development, planning and implementation of customised communication solutions and significantly expand its range of services. “In particular, we are looking at the growing demand in the area of 5G technology and will continue to expand our broadband offering. As proven TETRA experts, we continue to offer reliable communication in the narrowband range. Our development department is also working on innovative migration solutions to optimally connect both technology worlds,” explains Hucke.
