The "Experience Beijing" series of winter sports events, including 10 international events, 3 international training weeks and 2 domestic testing events, kicked off on October 5th.  Held in Beijing, Yanqing, and Zhangjiakou till the end of December, these test events offer a final opportunity for all the relevant taskforces to finetune their work processes and systems before the Beijing Winter Olympics.

As a major supplier of professional communications technology to the event, Caltta facilitated the success of the first round of test games earlier this year. During the second round of test event, Caltta implemented timely summary and review process to fully verify the optimal solution and planning for the 2022 Winter Olympics.

In order to ensure the stable operation and timely troubleshooting of the system, real-time communication and efficient collaboration of personnel during test events, Caltta dispatched a team of experts to set up a special onsite work group. All members take care of the system with their expertise and work closely together.

The venue expert team conducts daily equipment inspection, function test and signal test to ensure smooth service operation; the mobile expert team is responsible for monitoring the operation of each venue’s equipment and resolving any possible issues relevant to the group communications systems. At the same time, resident experts work in the Technical Operation Center (TOC) for communications to monitor the entire process and coordinated response of venue expert team and mobile expert team.

Currently, the preparations for the Beijing Winter Olympics are in full swing. The last round of test events before the Games will lay a solid foundation for the Winter Olympics and Paralympics to be held smoothly, safely, and successfully. Caltta will continue to offer technical support through the Winter Olympics.
