The BAPCO Annual Event has issued a call for papers for its 2025 conference. Organizers describe the event as "the key gathering for UK public safety communications technology professionals, offering two days of networking and cutting-edge best practice learning. The conference is an integral part of this experience."

Last year’s conference featured a variety of presentations from industry thought leaders, including both emergency services users and technology developers/manufacturers. Topics included the ongoing move to mission-critical broadband, artificial intelligence, and many more.

BAPCO 2025 will take place on March 5th-6th at the Coventry Building Society Arena.

Dr. Jane Watson, conference producer for the BAPCO Annual Event, shared her expectations for next year: “With over 95 world-renowned expert speakers across two days and three topic streams, the British APCO Conference & Exhibition is a beacon in the blue light calendar. It connects and engages with the entire UK public safety community.”

Watson continued, “The BAPCO conference is designed to deliver high-quality thought leadership through the main presentations, as well as informal discussions in ‘The Huddle,’ a popular feature introduced in 2024 and returning for 2025. We anticipate a wide range of speakers from both the UK and abroad, promoting global collaboration.”

She encouraged those with presentation ideas to submit their proposals via the application form on the BAPCO 2025 website or contact her directly. “This is your chance to demonstrate your expertise while influencing the direction of the UK and global public safety communications industry.”

The deadline for paper submissions is Monday, September 9th, 2024.
